In ancient tales Lapland was dwelled by giants. One of them, Saana, was frozen by the spells of wicked wizards of the north. After the ice eventually melted, Saana now remains as a holy and monumental mountain in Lapland next to the beautiful lake Kilpisjärvi.

26th April 2022. Mega tasting with minutemat, pushing our countries, regions and brewery stats higher. 33cl bottle; BB 29th September 2022. My first beer from Lapland. Amber, slightly cloudy, off-white top. Strange aroma and taste, boiled veg and rye like in nature, not too sure Juniper Berries smell or have the flavours this had. Infected maybe?

33cl bottle. Pours clear amber with an off-white head. Malty and caramelly with mild hoppy notes. Sweet and malty, but fairly balanced. Not really my favorite style, but drinkable enough.

Aroma fruktmix, malt, humle. Smak malt, syrlig frukt, humle, krydder. Føles som en surøl, en veldig god en, middels fyldig, god bitterhet.

Amber beer with medium white head. Aroma has sweet malts and fruits. Taste has malts, dry grass and some herbs. Medium body and carbonation.

Bottle 330ml (Prisma). Hazy amber colour, small off-white head. Funky nose has some fruits. Pale malts, grass, light fruits, funky bretta notes. Something gone wrong with bretta notes but it is actually alright.

Flaske. Gave fra Rune. Varm gylden. Plagsomt høyt luftig skum som daler veldig sakte. Litt lacing. Uklar. Aroma av overmoden frukt. Smaken tørket aprikos. Lett syrlig ettersmak. Ikke vellykket. (Har en følelse av at den er infisert. Skal prøve igjen. BB 2019-07-05)

330ml bottle kindly shared by Leif. Next to clear amber, pearl white head leaving crocheted lacing on the glass. Moderate smell of doughy fruits. Taste of herbal hops and bread-like malts with a resinous touch of bitterness to the finish. Medium bodied. Pretty alright. (With friends, Magnebu, Sommarøy 07.09.2018).

Tap at SOPP2018, Oulu. Color is clear golden with small white head. Aromas and flavors: Some fruits, some hops and malts. Easy.

Keg @ Brewdog Helsinki. Poured deep golden color with a thick white head. Toffeeish, herbal, veggie aroma. Vegetables, green herbal flavors. Really strong herbal, woody wibes. Interesting. Quite drinkable.
