KØLF 291119. Amber color with a beige head. Aroma is malt, caramel, spices. Flavor is roasted malt, , sugar, caramel, spices. Nice beer.

Bottle. Clear amber body under a small, lacing beige head. Aroma is mostly malty with some caramel. Taste is sweet and malty with a fine balance. Fine body with a long lasting, sweet and tasty aftertaste. Not much going on really but this is very well made malt based solid and smooth beer.

330ml bottle from Vinmonopolet Tromsø Sentrum. A hazy ruby-brown body under a fawn coloured head with good retention. Spotty lacing. Prominent aroma of chocolate malts , roasted. Well malt-driven taste of brittle caramel, dark bread, earth, and chocolate, subdued hints of star anise and a discreet backdrop of dark fruits. Lingering roasted finish. Fine depth. Yuletide feel. Nice light amber creamy mediumlasting head. Aroma is slightly sweet mineraly, caramel malts, toast, roasted grain, toffee, nuts, minerals, alcohol, grass, "knekk", grass, raisins, hints of coffee. Taste is slightly sweet roasted, toast, roasted grain, hay, minerals, fruit stones, minerals, grass, bark, dark sugar, sour coffee, hops, nuts, paper. Medium to longlasting bitterness, slightly harsh roasted mouthfeel. Fair enough.

Flaske fra Vinmonopolet Tromsø - Sentrum. Drukket på Lillehøgda. Ultradyprød. Lavt skum som raskt blir film. Karamellaroma. Litt stall i bakgrunnen. Smaken som aromaen. Brent karamell etter hvert. Tørr avslutning.
