A hay-yellow blanche, with a slightly hazy and cloudy appearance and a moderate, fine head. The scents are pleasantly citrusy and subtle aromas of spices gradually intensify as the beer becomes warmer. When sipped, it releases a beautiful harmony of cereals and citrus fruits, which mix and blend creating a delicate flowery and spicy balance. The finish is slightly herbaceous and leaves a faint, yet tantalizing peppery note in the mouth.

6th Feb 2025: 330ml bottle from a local Spar in St Julians, Malta. Been a while since I've had this. Misty pale golden yellow, white head. Quite burpy, high carb, nice floral wit character, but not quite hitting the wit mould as much as last time I had it.

14th Feb 2016: 330ml bottle from Saveur-Biere.fr. Pours gold with wheat haze. White head. Aroma is floral & citrus fruity. Taste has a high carbonation, some nice fruity orangey moments with some nice integrated spice. Very decent Belgian wit probably a bit fruitier than most.

Refrigerated big brown bottle poured into a weizen glass. Cloudy orange with small white head. Aroma is orange, medium body, fizzy at first, then lower carbonation, and some-small bubble lacing. Taste is malty, some orange, and some some spice. This is an expensive bottle for an average beer.

(Bottle) Golden yellow colour with frothy, white head. Fruity, spicy nose with citrus, lemon peel, white bread, grass, honey, peaches, flowers and a touch of bergamot. Malty, fruity taste with notes of white bread, flowers, lemon peel, honey, peaches, coriander, hay and a dry finish with a herbal spiciness. Medium body, quite dry, low bitterness. Floral and spicy, tasty and refreshing. Quite nice.

Bottle. Curious Hop, Otley. Stunning, bright orange, thatโ€™s cloudy enough to make it look like a glass of marmalade. Lots of streamy bubbles keep alive a thick, white head. Nose is sweet, wheaty, and toffeeish. Some fruit and spice. Taste is sweet and a bit sickly. Foamy palate. A little watery. Finishes short sweet. Sets off great but goes a bit downhill from then.

White grape and pear nose. Clear amber, huge head with no retention. Pear, slightly vegetal. Thin and watery. This was probably a flawed batch which explains the relatively low price tag.

Bottle, 0.33l. Clear golden color with medium creamy white head and sparkling appearance. Aroma of wheat, banana, yeast and coriander. Taste starts with moderate sweet grainy malt, following is herbal and yeasty, mouthfeel is dry and spicy, while finish is mild bitter. Light to medium body, thin texture and fizzy carbonation in palate. Quite tasteless...
