Beer in the copper dress. The Goudale IPA is the perfect marriage of several American hops from the plains of Yakima (Washington State-USA). It reveals notes of citrus fruit and exotic fruits and wants to dry with pronounced bitterness. The yeast and cereals used in its recipe complete its taste palette with aromatic notes.

Le Petit Casino: pours copper with fluffy head. Aroma is lightly spicy, earthy. Seems closer to a hoppy Belgian pale ale than an IPA. Taste is lightly bitter. Fairly dry. Not really am IPA other than being kind of hoppy. Fine to drink though.

.0.33 l bottle from a French supermarket. Pours deep golden color with a long lasting white head. Hops and raisin in aroma. It has a quite strange, unique taste with hints of hoppy bitterness, resin and something that reminds me of a smoked barrel. Its label says it’s an IPA, it’s categorised as a Belgian ale and has the characteristics of an IPA. Wat wat.

Bottle. Clear golden body with a white head. Aroma is mostly malt and grain. Flavor is also mostly pale malt, not much fruit and low bitterness. Medium body and a bit sweet in aftertaste. Has nothing to to with an IPA, more like a strong golden ale.

Bottle from Lekkerbier, St. Nicolaasga. Aroma is sweet malt with caramel, floral notes, bit perfumed. Flavour is fairly sweet with a moderate bitterness. Body is medium. Underhopped and filtered macro 'IPA'. Not a lot of fun.

Clear golden appearance. It's a bit weird. Seems a bit sugary and yeasty. Seems like a blond with a sniff of hops.
