Clear pale yellow pour with a big frothy white head. Lively bubble activity in the glass. Strange aroma. Not really wheat stuff Some sour notes A bit to high carbonation level. Flavor….hmmmm reminds me of a dull and thin pale lager What the.F…Grans….. [Bottle from REMA 1000 in Halden, Norway]

Bottle. An almost clear golden colored beer with a small off-white head. Rather weak aroma, lightly fruity, lightly grainy, with a note of cloves. Some banana, some yellow apples, a touch of pale malts and some bread. A light piney and citrusy touch in the back. It's medium bodied and semi-dry, with a decent carbonation. As the aroma, the flavor too is quite weak. That's of course typical for Kristall Weisse, and why I prefer the real deal, or even better, Weizenbock. Anyway, it's far from foul, just boring, with some pale malts and wheat in the back, and yellow apples, banana notes, hints of cloves and a touch of citrus up front. Medium length finish. A sort of refreshing beer, but there's quite a lot of more interesting beers out there, even in the Norwegian stores. 190501
