Old Stoat is called this because in olden times stout used to be called stoat. It is not clear whether stoat was also an ingredient of the beer in those days, nor even if the word bears any relation to its modern usage.

Bottle from Locronan beershop opened at Camping Kost-Ar-Moor. Poors black with no head. Deep roasted chocolate malt. Burnt grains, light ash, ground coffee notes. Moderate bitter. Black brown, nice head. A lot of carbonation. Sour and bitter finish, no sweetness. A bit too watery.
