Tap @ the brewery. Unclear orange golden body with a moderate sized white head. Mild aroma of pale malt and citric fruit. Flavor is medium sweet pale malt, citric fruit and a bit grassy/fruity bitterness. Medium body and average aftertaste. Decent but I miss something more hoppy here.

On tap. It pours a dark golden body, lightly hazy, with a creamy off-white head. There's some pale malts in the aroma, but it's the hops that run the show. Still, it's not overwhelmingly hoppy in any way. Citrus zest, pine cones, orange notes and a touch of grass. There's some sweetness on the palate, a good bitterness to deal with it, and flavors of citrus peel and pine cones, with pale malts as a backdrop. Mostly on the dry side, with a full body and pleasant carbonation. Actually a bit high, but it suits the beer just fine. Lasting bitter, citrusy finish. A quite old school IPA-ish pale ale, and after a few sips that throwback feeling felt very nice. 180303

A really pleasant and easy drinkable hoppy ale. Looks nice and easy to drink. Pleasant hoppy aroma and a fine lasting flavor. Citric and fruity on a fine malt back. One more please.
