Bottle from La Cave A Bulles. Hazy gold - amber beer. Semi dry palate but the beer is creamy - frothy in the gob! Rich aromatic malt with a carbonated spicy bite. Better than the other French blondes I’ve tried (oooh eerrr!).

Bottle at a tasting. Thanks Shachar. Hazy golden with a white head. Aroma of sugar, yeast and fruits. Sweetish flavor of yeast, fruits, sugar and a bit of malt. Continues dry and spicy. Light-medium-bodied with lots of carbonation.

At a tasting, thanks Shachar, hazy deep gold to lightish orange colour, aroma of herbs, tea and something fruity in the back, flavour of herbs and citrus with a pleasant herbal bitter aftertaste. One dimensional but quite drinkable.

Bottle 33 cl. Courtesy of Ungstrup. Pours deep golden with a slight haze and a lacing off-white head. Intriguing fruity aroma. Medium body, very soft on the palate, medium body, sweet fruit and honey notes with a vague whiff of phenols. Nice alright. 261010

Bottle from Gallerie Lafayette in Paris. Rich, malty aroma, spices, Belgian yeast, bread, citrus, banana. Deep gold with a huge, fine head. Lots of bubbles. Rich, sweet, creamy, with bananas; estery. Thic and heavy, a bit too much so. Very flavorful but a bit too estery and thick--need more hops.
