Tap @ Cafe Sara, Oslo. Black with a brown head. Aroma is sweet, roasted malt, dark sugar and licorice. Flavor is quite sweet and moderate bitter. Sweet and moderate bitter finish. Soft. 230119

Nice fizzy-creamy mediumlasting head. Aroma is slightly sweet sour-ish roasted, dark sugar, dark malts, mild espresso, chocolate, minerals, caramel, sour-ish roasted grain, grass, hay, toast. Taste is slightly dry sour-ish roasted, weeds, sour coffee, bark, sour-ish roasted grain, bloodlike minerals, bark, paper, burnt toast, saltwater, grass. Medium bitterness, sour-ish burnt mouthfeel. Fair enough, nice aroma (in the beginning)...

Fra fat på Ølhallen. Svart. Lavt sjokoladefarget skum. Tynn lacing. Heftig kaffearoma med innslag av mørk sjokolade. Smaken kaffe. Bra - men lite variasjon.

170ml draught at Ølhallen. Deep black body, filmy layer, spotty lacing on the glassware. Prominent smell of coffee with a touch of liquorice behind. More coffee to the taste character supported by dark chocolate and ash. Nice malt-driven end with coffee and chocolate. Rounded mouth feel. Surprisingly easy to drink. Pleasant brew. (Tromsø 17.02.2018).
