Bottle. A mostly clear chestnut colored beer with a small beige head. The aroma has bread, oats, dark dried fruits and caramel, with a vague touch of cooked vegetables lurking in the far back. It's full-bodied and smooth on the palate, with a pleasant sweetness. Not much carbonation going on. Bread, oats, prunes and dried figs followed by caramel in the flavor. Some dark chocolate. It's a quite pleasant beer, but a bit too much on the brown ale side for a doppelbock. 190907

Amber with off white head - Malt aroma with some caramel - Malt body with some caramel notes and some hops to balance with bitterness - The malt goes into the finish with some hints of hop bitterness - This was nice

Nice clear nutty pour with a fine tan head. The head gives up a bit to fast in my opinion. Toffee, nutty and some roast in the aroma. Decent intensity. Balanced sweetness. Quite caramel malty this one. Also a bit fruity, bready and some roast. Decent lasting flavor.

500ml bottle from Vinmonopolet Langnes. Shared with Pål. Clear mahogany coloured body, remaining fawn-coloured head. Clingy lacing. Inviting malty aromas of chocolate and nuts. Rounded malt driven taste of chocolate malts, bread and nuts. Mid-sweet, lingering malty finish. Smooth and well bodied. Decent lunchtime partner. (Romjul gathering, Tromsø 26.12.2017).

Flaske 500ml fra Vinmonopolet Tromsø - Sentrum. Mørk amber. Lavt tett skum med litt farge. Daler sakte og blir helt borte. Aroma av karamell. Smaken karamell med hint av malt. Ble veldig søt etter hvert. Litt bunnfall.

Nice fizzy-creamy mediumlasting head. Aroma is slightly sweet roasted, dark malts, mocha, grass, minerals, toast, chocolate, cereal, "knekk", roasted grain, hints of coffee. Taste is slightly dry roasted, dark malts, chocolate, minerals, toast, roasted grain, cereal, hay, grass, "knekk", mocha. Medium bitterness, slightly watery and dry mineraly mouthfeel. Nice enough.
