Flaske 330ml fra Vinmonopolet Tromsø - Sentrum. Delt med djoeye hos ham 28 Nov 17. Så vidt gjennomskinnelig mørk amber. Høyt tett rosa-amber skum. Tynn lacing. Aroma av nøtter med hint av sherry. Smaken balansert. Sherry. Plommer. Lett tørr ettersmak. God julestemning her. (Egen flaskeutgave på 6,5%? Bryggedato 061019)

Tap @ the brewpub. Dark brown with a decent beige head. Aroma has dark malt, coffee, mild smoke and a spicy touch. Flavor is medium sweet, dark, light roasted malt, caramel and toast with a spicy touch and low bitterness. Medium body and average aftertaste that make the beer feels sweeter after a little while. Not as exiting as it might have turned out with the smoke etc. it actually feels a bit raw and unfinished but still very drinkable and almost quaffable. Feels lighter in alcohol than 6%.

On tap at the brewpub. A mostly clear dark reddish brown beer with a minimal sized brown head. Smoked, roasted aroma with dark dried fruits soon playing a major part. Hints of licorice and a sourish smoke touch. Roasted and smoked malts, dried fruits, licorice, resin notes, a light sweetness and some faint spiced hints in the flavor. Low, well suited bitterness. It's medium bodied and smooth, lacking on carbonation I think, and semi-sweet. Long sweet, roasted and smoked finish with dried fruits and licorice. Christmasy indeed, a bit gentle though. 171111
