A deep dark stout with a thin mocha head. In aroma, sweet chocolate malt with light grassy hops, light vanilla, light powdery character, nice and smooth. In mouth, a nice sweet fruity chocolate malt with licorice, molasses, dark fruits, alcohol warmth, very nice and smooth. Bottle at Mondial 2018.

On tap at Både&. It's a black one, more or less, with a small dense, beige head leaving curtains. The aroma is roasted, lightly burnt and chocolatey, with licorice, vanilla, dark sugar and a touch of cocoa powder. It's full bodied, lightly warming and both dry and sweet, with a nice carbonation level. Roasted malts, coffee, cocoa, licorice and a nice bitterness in the flavor. Lasting finish with cocoa quite present. Lasting finish. A delicious one indeed. 180524

33cl bottle, Vasa tasting. Poured near black with a thin off white head. Sweet with licorice and strong chocolate notes. Chocolate cake with licorice and roasted malts. Heavy, good drinkability. Very solid stuff. Salty licorice in the long finish.

Ølfestivalen Nørbø 2017. Black color with a tan head. Flavor is sweet, roasted malt, hop, chocolate, sugar, yeast, lactose, cocoa, licorice. Very easy drinkable beer.
