Small beige head. Barely translucent deep dark red body with small particles. Sugary fruity toffee aroma with candy and licorice notes. Very sweet intense toffee and flour taste with earthy syrupy spicy notes. Very full body. Sweet marzipan and toffee aftertaste with spicy powdery notes. Cinnamon, perhaps? Perhaps they added hops to this, but you could lose a lot of hops in this thing and not notice. It’s not a terrible beer, but it really is too sweet. (0.33l bottle, from wine monopoly, Molde.)
