Bottle, at Brasserie Posten. 2018 vintage. An unclear brown beer with a reddish tint. A small beige head forms on top. The aroma has quite a lot of dried fruits, with caramel, some brown sugar, hints of alcohol and a touch of grassy, piney hops. It's full bodied, sweet, quite warming and nicely carbonated, still smooth on the palate, with a light bitterness bringing some balance to the accounts. Caramel, dried fruits and some roasted malts have company of brown sugar, chocolate and a touch of coffee in the flavor. Alcohol too. Lasting finish. A very pleasant and clean quad that would probably benefit from some cellaring. 190814

Dark amber pour with a fine head. Ok lacing. Pleasant intensity in the aroma. Balanced sweetness for a beer like this. Oily texture. Dried fruits, toffee, nutty and mild vinous. Fine ok evening sipper.

330ml by bottle bought at Vinmonopolet Langnes. Fragile lacing from a dissipating beige head. Deep, dark brown-reddish coloured body. Sweet aroma of dried fruits and toffee. Blended taste of almond, prunes, toffee and figs, slightly marmalade impression. Dried fruity ending. Fine depth. Clean and smooth mouth feel. Enjoyed as a sweet slow sipper for about an hour. (Tromsø 14.10.2017).

Flaske fra Vinmonopolet Tromsø - Langnes. Drukket på Øverhøgda og delt med EgilB. Ultramørk amber. Lavt skum med litt farge. Tynn lacing. Aroma av plommer. Oljeaktig munnfølelse. Smaken søt frukt. Mye plommer.
