Medium lasting beige head. Opaque black body. Earthy roasty aroma, fairly vague, with faint mint. Sweetish earthy toasted sugar taste with minty licorice notes. Mid-to-full body. Mild, soft, slightly flat mouthfeel. Dryish roasty herbal licorice aftertaste with burnt lacquer notes. Lingering bitterness. Nice, drinkable, harmonic, and has real character. Quite impressed. Nice light brown creamy mediumlasting head. Aroma is slightly sweet roasted, vanilla sugar, dark malts, roasted grain, grass, weeds, sour coffee, minerals, toast, burnt caramel. Taste is sour-ish roasted, weeds, burnt grain, minerals, bark, sour coffee, burnt toast, grass, medicine. Medium bitterness, harsh burnt mouthfeel. Not my cup of tea.

500 ml bottle. Dark amber body, almost black with a medium sized beige head. Aroma of dark malt and liquorice. Flavor is dark, light roasted malt, liquorice, some coffee and moderate bitterness. Medium body and a bit short in aftertaste. A bit straight forward but fair enough.

Flaske fra polets nettbutikk, hjemme: brunsvart med fint skum - kniplinger og film. Aroma og smak av mørke malter og mørkbrent kaffe, noe aske og lakris. Mykt karbonert med fin munnfylde. Tørr bitterhet og lang avslutning.

Svart med fingerhøyt beige skum. Lukter sjokolade, mørke frukter og kaffe. Fyldig. Smaker salt lakris, middels bitter, lite sødme. Middels lang saltbitter avsluttning.
