Bottle backlog May 2017. Unclear amber body with a small beige head. Aroma has malt, caramel and sweetish ripe fruit. Quite strong in flavors, sweet, dry fruit, caramel malt and some warming alcohol. Nice body and long lasting aftertaste. The total impression feels better than the aroma and flavor isolated.

Hazed dark golden pour with a fine lasting off white head. Looks nice and inviting. Good intensity in the aroma. Balanced sweetness and a fine lasting tail. Toffee, honey, some spices and fruity flavor. Nice complexity. Solid nice evening sipper.

500ml bottle, batch 181, from Vinmonopolet Langnes. A fawn-coloured head with fine retention and leaving scattered lacing behind. Hazed dark-reddish body. Dark berry skins on the nose, earthy and mid-sweet. Nice blend of chocolate and berries to the taste profile supported by dried fruits and wood. Hints of aquavit to the finish. Well bodied. Winter warmer enjoyed on a cold and frosty Saturday eve. Fits the season. (Tromsø 18.11.2017).

Nice slightly bubbly-creamy mediumlasting head. Aroma is slightly sour-ish roasted, dark malts, yeast, candi sugar, grass, minerals, oak, banana, "knekk" alcohol, spices, licorice, raisins. Taste is slightly sweet mineraly, weeds, dark sugar, yeast, dark malts, minerals, candi sugar, oak, bark, aquavit, licorice, "knekk", raisins, spices. Medium bitterness, slightly harsh mineraly mouthfeel. Fair enough.
