Pours black with a tan head. Aroma has notes of roasted malt, chocolate and licorice. Taste is medium sweet and light to medium bitter with a long roasted, chocolate and licorice finish. Body is full, texture is oily, carbonation is soft.

Can, shared by Bergstaden. Close to black in the glass, with a finger-thick dark beige head. Alcohol, roasted malts, dark chocolate, some brown sugar and caramel in the aroma. Caramel sauce and a strange hop note. It's full-bodied, smooth and lightly warming, with a good dash of sweetness, roasted malts, caramel and dark sugar. Some bitterness. Lasting dark-flavored finish. A quite decent one, but it's sort of boring. 180922
