Flaske fra Gulating Stavanger, hjemme: lett uklar gylden med fint skum som varer. Fruktig aroma med appelsiner, lychee, drops og tyggis. Smaken likeså - i den friske, søtlige retning. Mye og lys, lekker smak i butikkstyrke. Mild, fruktig bitterhet i avslutningen. En særdeles velfortjent tørsteslukker etter 11 strabasiøse km gjennom Bjerkreimsheiene, som består av myr, bratte og glatte fjellskråninger og særdeles ulendt ur. Heldigvis regnet det ikke hele tiden.

Nice fizzy-creamy mediumlasting head. Aroma is harsh mineraly, weeds, yeast, minerals, sap, metal tank, leafs, flowers, banana, fruit stones, bubblegum grain. Taste is harsh mineraly, yeast, weeds, minerals, grass, metal tank, bubblegum, grain, fruit stones, sap, old cellar, paper, bark, hay, broth. Medium bitterness, harsh metallic mouthfeel, fizzy carbonation. Meh!

Bottle, courtesy of Horten’s grand old man Cunningham. A slow gusher producing a big, diminishing white head over a lightly hazy golden body. Rather grainy nose, fruity too, with some coriander notes. It’s rather effervescent, semi-dry and medium bodied. Fruity flavor with yellow apples, Some pale malts and a cellar hint. Long fruity, grainy finish with some bitterness. Not very interesting this one, and not very good either. 160806

Pours hazy golden with a white head. Aroma has notes of malt, apple, yeast and hint of orange. Taste is medium sweet and light bitter with a long apple, yeasty, orange and hint of grain. Taste is medium, texture is thin to oily, carbonation is fizzy

Bottle, kindly shared by Cunningham, many thanks. A slightly golden coloured body topped by a patchy layer. Modest aroma of honeyed fruity. Bread, honey and spiced fruitiness to the flavour character. Mid-sweet fruity ending with a yeasty touch. Accepted (The great Munch drinking session, hotel room, Oslo 15.03.2016).
