Bottle. An unclear dark orange colored beer with a dense off-white two finger head leaving some coarse lacing. Rather malty aroma with a solid pine cone scent, some citrus, grapefruit mostly but also some orange, and a cooked cereals note. It’s full bodied, perhaps a bit heavy on the carbonation, still quite smooth, lightly warming and with a decent bitterness. Sweet, malty backdrop and piney, resiny hops up front. Citrus too. Long piney, bitter finish. Not bad this one, quite old school but sure drinkable. Perhaps the first time I’ve enjoyed a beer from this brewery. 170808

Bottle shared with JMD on board Fridtjofen 31.07.17. Slightly hazy golden. Moderate and slightly sweet aroma, with citrus, marmalade and weeds. Taste of bitter marmalade, mint, bitter citrus and pale malt. Bitterness is lingering on.

Vitamininnholdet varmer i magen. Floral bitterhet i avslutningen. Men etter hvert fremstår den som ufrisk.

Flaske 330ml fra Vinmonopolet Tromsø - Sentrum. Gyldenbrun. Høyt kritthvitt tett skum med litt filigranser. Aroma av mandler & frukt. Silkemyk munnfølelse. Smaken som aromaen. Tørr bitter ettersmak. Behagelig øl!

Flaske 33cl kjøpt på vinmonopolet Mo i Rana, smakt på Storsand Camp i Trøndelag. Aroma aprikos, karamell, alkohol, humle. Utseende mørk gul/orange nesten uten skum. Smak aprikos, karamell, malt, humle, alkohol. Rund lett fruktig ipa med fint balansert bitterhet og noe alkoholsmak i avslutningen. God øl ---

Poured from a bottle at Bådin Ølfestival. Lasting, creamy, pearl white head. Close to clear golden body. Smells fine with citrus and earthy malts. Mixed hop fruity flavours of orange and dried fruits, mid-sweet malty backbone. Lingering malt-fruity ending. Warmth for noticeable alcohol. Pretty nice. (Bodø 19.05.2017).
