Bottle. A more or less clear deep golden to amber colored beer with a finger-thick off-white head. The aroma is quite malty, bread and some caramel, with piney, citrusy hops chiming in. Seems to be a bit old this bottle, the hops lack freshness, both in aroma and flavor. Caramel, bread, toffee hints, pine cones, resin and a touch of grapefruit zest, and a decent bitterness. Semi-dry, with a soft carbonation and a medium body fullness. Piney and malty finish. Sure not a favorite of mine, but I suspect it would have been more interesting when fresh. 181223

Fiskåbanen 061018. Golden color with a white head. Aroma is fruit, malt, hop, bread. Flavor is fruit, malt, hop, bread, yeast. Too much yeast.

500ml bottle, #102, from Gulating Ølutsalg, Tromsø. Covering white head to a cloudy golden body, rich lacing. Moderate fruity aroma with berry skins. Herbal hops, pears, mild caramel, and moments of berries to the taste profile. Mid-dry bitter endnotes. Medium bodied. Satisfying.(Tromsø 05.03.2018).

Flaske 500ml fra Gulating Tromsø. Batch 36. Gylden. Høyt luftig skum som daler sakte. Lett ferskenaroma. Smaken tørr appelsin. Vel søt. Avslutter tørt & bittert. Veldig uklar siste kvelling.

Flaske fra Gulating Stavanger, hjemme: lett uklar gylden med flott, tett skum som varer helt til siste dråpe i mitt Duvel-glass. Deilig aroma og smak med granskudd, tropiske frukter og malt. Fin balanse også i ettersmaken.

Golden with a white head - Hop aroma with some citrus notes - Malt body to support a hop profile that is fruity and some herbal flavours as well - The herbal hops goes into the finish - This was nice

Nice fizzy-creamy mediumlasting head. Aroma is grassy, weeds, wet leafs, minerals, paper, wet grass, dried grain, flowers, bark, hops. Taste is dry mineraly, weeds, wet grass, minerals, bark, paper, wet leafs, hay, harsh hops, light malts. Medium to longlasting bitterness, harsh mineraly mouthfeel. Meh!
