Bottle. Clear amber body with a big off-white head. Aroma is malty with quite much caramel and some bread. Flavor has also a lot of caramel malt, some brown sugar, dry fruit and bread with a balancing bitterness. Medium body and quite long lasting, sweet malty and caramel aftertaste. Not the best within the style, a bit too plain for that, but sure a decent food friendly ale.

500ml bottle, batch 112, bought at Gulating Ølutsalg Tromsø. Bright amber body under a slowly diminishing off-white head. Dotted spots on the glass. Mid-sweet doughy nose alongside a citric touch. Blended taste of caramel, green apples, and a backdrop of dark fruits. Mid-sweet ending. So and so (Tromsø 12.03.2017).

Bottle 50 cl. Amber, clear with minimal head. Hoppy and caramel aroma. Light bitter with little hop end, boring.

On tap at the brewpub. It looks lovely in the glass, with a dense, two-finger off-white head sitting patiently on top of a clear, amber body. The aroma has caramel dominating, with a generic malty and fruity touch. Soft on the palate, medium bodied and quite dry. Caramel and a nice fruityness in the flavor, as well as a balanced bitterness. Caramel and fruits in the finish. Quite tasteful and easy drinkable this one. 140624
