Cask, half-pint, shared with Finn at The Raven. A beige head, spotty lacing, clear warm golden body. Earthy malts and fruity hops on the nose. Lemony hops to the flavour character, mild brown malty sweetness beneath. Dry moderate bitter finish. Drinks very well. A nice one. (Bath 03.05.2017).

Cask at the Back of Beyond, Reading. Amber with an off-white head. Bitter lemon with caramel following. Pleasant enough if a little one-dimensional.

500ml bottle. Clear slightly reddish golden with quasi no head. Fine hop aroma, floral, grassy. Light body, no carbonation. Taste is watery, American Pale Ale-like, slightly sweet caramel malt, floral hop again, slightly dry finish. Too thin and without any carbonation not as good as it easily could be.
