1/3 cask at B&K Bristol. Clear, copper pour, small off-white silky head. Malty aroma, sweetness. Taste is light caramel, brown bread tapering off to a dry finish.

Cask at Brewhouse & Kitchen, Bristol. Pours clear amber with a beige cap. Aroma: malty, caramel, nuts, fruity. Taste: light to moderate sweet & bitter, malt, caramel, nuts. Light to moderate body with soft carbonation. Another dull B&K effort.

6/4/2022. Cask at Brewhouse & Kitchen, Bristol. Pours clear dark amber with a small bubbly off-white head. Aroma is malty, fruity, caramel, slight veggie notes. Moderate sweetness and medium bitterness with a sour edge. Light to moderate body, watery, soft carbonation. Starter for 8 or 9 … hoping for better.

Cask, half-pint shared with Finn at Brewhouse & Kitchen. Filmy layer, fragile lacing, ruby in body colour slightly clouded. Aroma of bread and caramel. Similar taste profile with a backdrop of leafy hops. Average. (Bristol 30.04.2017).

Cask at source. Mid amber coloured pour with a loose off white head. Aroma is nice nutty Berry, light mineral. Flavour is nutty malt, simple, red berry, mineral. Palate is light, thin, little refreshing. Simple well made beer.
