Keg, half pint shared with Finn at Beerd Bristol. Crocheted lacing from a white tophead. Orange-golden body, close to clear. Orange and apricot on the nose. Rather succulent taste of oranges added by a backdrop of honey sweetness. Smooth fruit bitter end. Medium bodied. Soft in the mouth. Nice. (30.04.2017).

Keg at The Hop Pole, Bath, Somerset, Saturday 4th February 2017 in the company of James (Landlord) who moved here from Beerd/The Grapes, Oxford. Hazy gold in colour, really fruity with a good bitter spike. I’m getting mostly tropical fruits in the mouth, but there is also a good furry bitter workout for the gums and tongue. Better than I expected. A6 A4 T8 P4 Ov14 3.6

Keg at the Bootlegger, 10/05/16. Clear golden orange with a well appointed off White head. Nose is orange rind, light honey, grain, soft bread, airy malts. Taste comprises tangerine, lemon, touch of caramel, bread dough, light floral notes. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with light hop bitterness. Drinkable but lacking hop profile for the style.

Draught @ Woolshed, Helsinki. Pours orange with a tiny head. Aroma of caramely malts, hints of grass and citrus. Taste is sweetish, stuffy and caramely malty with some toffee, grass and citrus. Finish is sweet, malty and caramely with some stuffy notes, hints of bitterness. A bit unbalanced.

(Keg at Woolshed, 20150116) The beer poured amber and hazy. Its head was medium sized and white. Aroma had fruitiness, herbalness and sweet maltiness. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were fruitiness, sweetness, some creamy toffee, herbalness and bitterness. Aftertaste was herbal and bitter. A harsh brew imitating American way of making IPAa.
