Bottle. It's a lightly hazy chestnut colored beer with a small beige head. The aroma is roasted, nutty and very lightly chocolatey, with a touch of freshly fired gun powder. It's medium bodied and semi-dry, with a soft and pleasant carbonation. A light bitterness in the back of the flavor, with roasted malts, toffee and bread crust. Malt driven finish too. A nice brown ale indeed, except for that gun powder thing in the aroma. 190814

Thank you Chris for sharing this - Brown with an off white head - Malt aroma with some caramel notes - Malt body with some caramel flavour and some hints of bitterness to balance - The malt with hints of caramel goes into the finish - This was ok
