330ml bottle, 7 % abv, bought at Six Degrees North Aberdeen a year ago. Patchy beige head, spotty lacing, mahogany coloured body, next to clear. Smell of citrus peels and subdued malty sweetness. Mid-tart and sweet malt-fruity flavours, hints of toffee, ripe citrus, anise, and candy. Drying malt-fruity finish. Smooth and moderately sweet. Pleasant. (My rating no. 12000).(Shared with djoeye and Finn, rating session in Tromsø 23.03.2017).

Bottle. Appearance - deep amber with a nice head. Nose - toffee, red fruit and general resin. Taste - red fruit at least, tangy toffee, strawberry laces. Palate - medium bodied with a tangy texture and a long dry tangy finish. Overall - I’d put this somewhere between a ruby ale and a Belgian Dubbel.
