Well stored bottle opened June 2019. I had I taste of this fresh I found it very raw and unfinished. The storage have made a wonder with this. Clear deep amber body with a moderate sized, dense tan head. Aroma of dark malt, dark fruit, chocolate and mild Bourbon (the Bourbon was much more dominating previously). Flavor is smooth, sweet, rich malty, dry fruit, chocolate, caramel, nice bitterness and pleasant, warming Bourbon. Fine body and smooth, tasty aftertaste. Nice (and I actually did not like his at all in 2016)

15.03.2017, 0,5l bottle @ home:
Big fizzy-creamy mediumlasting head. Aroma is slightly sour-ish mineraly, co2 stinging in the nose, bloodlike minerals, dark malts, dark sugar, oak, licorice, caramel, sour-ish dark fruits. Taste is dry sour-ish roasted, weeds, minerals, burnt grain, bark, paper, metal tank, hay, toast, alcohol, roasted coffee oak. Medium bitterness, watery and slightly harsh mineraly mouthfeel. Fair enough aroma when it gets to breathe for a while. Otherwise, it’s pretty darn boring...

500ml bottle bought at Vinmonopolet Langnes, N295. Colourful and cool label design. Rocky, fawn coloured head slowly diminishing, leaving clingy lacing behind. Clear, dark brown body. Roasted caramel malty nose, mid-dry. Nicely roasted, earthy, brown malty flavours supported by dried fruits. Malt bitter ending, smooth on the swallow. Nice homecoming beer on a Saturday eve (Tromsø 01.10.2016).

Tåkete mørk brun med fingerhøyt beige skum. Lukter kakaopulver, svisker og noe kaffe. Lett. Noe salt. Nøtter og kaffe. Middels lang.
