Home. Bottle from Maakuns vast French collection/connection. Hazy dark golden/pale amber with white head. Sweet malts, lot of hops but not very outspoken. Some tangerine fruitiness, some fudge. Medium sweet, light bitter. Medium body, average carbo. Not bad not great still nice.

Bottle shared. Bit hazy golden with quite big cream colored head. Lots of tropical fruits and some sweat on the nose. Then some grass, strange veggies, light sour citrus, sweet malts and caramel. Medium sweet and bitter, light sour. Over medium bodied. Not the best Matten beer.

Hefig-hopfiger Antrunk, frisch, süß, spürbar alkoholisch. Dabei sinkt die Süße während der Hopfen, wenn auch nur leicht, steigt. Süffig, mittellanges Finish, hefig wie im Antrunk. 9/11/10/10/9/11

Bottle from Village De La Bière, Strasbourg consumed at Fischers Fritz Camping, Kirchner, Nr Zurich, Switzerland, Thursday 23rd June 2016. Pours copper in colour with a big frothy white head. Hoppy but not overly do, fruity but also quite a malty beast. Some citrus, mostly a sweet orange but sweeter as opposed to bitterness, fine. A6 A4 T6 P3 Ov12 3.1
