Hand-pulled pint in the Mount Pleasant, No Mans Land, Devon on 4th August 2022. Clean amber body, off-white crown. Light caramel aroma and taste, tempered by a mini citrussy fruitiness. More a 'Cooking' bitter than a 'Best' in my opinion.

Flaske 500ml på Union Rooms, Plymouth 23 Sep 16. Delt med Rune. Varm gyldenbrun. Middels høyt skum som daler sakte. Bra aroma av ananas & mango. Smaken ganske lik. Blir behagelig tørr & bitter etter hvert. Litt bunnfall. Ga mersmak.

500ml bottle at JDW’s Union Rooms, shared with Finn. Bubbly white head leaving clingy lacing down the glass. Clear amber in body appearance. Mid-dry malty nose with a floral touch. Mixed taste of fruity hops, nuts and bread. Nice bittersweet ending, short lived. Drinks well (Plymouth 23.09.2016).

Bottle. Appearance - cloudy amber with a thin but decent head. Nose - sweet malt, a hint of orange. Taste - more sweet malt, then light biscuit and a metallic note on the finish. Palate - light bodied with a creamy texture and a dry metallic finish. Overall - was solid but the metallic finish was unexpected and unwelcome.

Bottle from Darts Farm. Chestnut-brown colour, mid-sized fluffy white head. Delicious malty flavours dominate in the beginning, with fruity hints and some nuts, almost chewable. Fruity-bitter hoppy flavours tune in towards the lingering finish. Delicious!
