Half-pint, cask, shared with Finn at Furnace Inn, Derby. A tan-coloured head with fair lacing over a jet black body. Grainy chocolate nose. Mixed taste of dark fruit, soot, and chocolate malts. Mid-sweet dark malty finish. Decent porter. a bit thin bodied though. (Meet-up with Fin at the Magic Rock and Shiny mini-festival arranged by the pub 18.02.2016).

Fra fat på Furnace i Derby 18 Feb 16. Delt med Rune. Svart. Lavt, litt farget skum. Lett kaffearoma. Smaken tynn kaffe. Litt tynn. Tørr avslutning.

Cask handpump at The Furnace, Derby, Thursday, 18th February 2016 in the company of Finn and Rune. Pours black, yep it’s black with a beige head, a little bit of Dime chocolate bar on the nose, a little lactose, some watery coffee, fine without ever exciting me. A6 A4 T6 P3 Ov13 3.2
