Shared by Maakun at Maakun back from US tasting. Near opaque dark brown, big fluffy creme head. Sweet toasted malts, caramel dipped tuttifrutti and a nice layer of hoppiness on top. Big sweet, medium bitter. Over medium body, heavy oily texture. Feels like a hoppy barleywine, with lower abv than expected by experience. Average bubbly carbonation. Nice surprise.

Bottle shared thanks to Santa fonefan! Hazy dark amber with very very big beige head. This leaked a bit in the box and that’s probably because of the strong carbonation. Sweet malts, dried red fruits, lots of plums, caramel, tutti frutti, bitter herbs, toffee, wort, red wine. Over medium sweet and almost as bitter. Medium bodied with sticky feel.
