Bottle. Black body with a dense beige head. Strong aroma of dark malt, wood, vanilla, Bourbon and Christmas spices. Flavor is sweet malt with the same thing as aroma, wood, vanilla, spices and vinous Bourbon tones. Fine body and long, smooth aftertaste. Really nice and pleasant.

Maybe aging is not a good idea for this one. The carbonation level was to high in this bottle. Destroyed most of the experience. It has probably been a very good beer. Still have one bottle. This was batch #175. Produced 24.04.17 and exp date 24.04.20. They flavor was mostly dark malt, yeast, mild oak and some fruity notes.

KØLF 180518. Dark brown color with a tan head. Aroma is bourbon, roasted malt, cocoa. Flavor is bourbon, roasted malt, cocoa, coffee, chocolate, berries. Full body. Very nice beer.

Bottle 50 cl. Balck with a large foamy light brown head. Aroma of chocolate, licorice and some dark fruits. Sweet taste, light bitter with a nice chocolate and licorice end. Calendar 2017, 16/24.

Draft. A black beer with a lazing beige head. The aroma has notes of roasted malt, chocolate, cocoa, cherries, and bread. The flavor is sweet with notes of roasted malt, chocolate,cherries, and bread, leading to a dry finish.

From tap. Pours hazy dark brown to black. Small tan head. Aroma is chocolate malty. Breadisha and carameoish to chicolate. Chocolate bitter. Dark malty. Dry, roasted and dense malty. Bitter and roasted finish.

Bottle at home. Pours a black colour with a big beige head. Lots of chocolate in the aroma along with rubber and some wood, coffee beans and alcohol. Dark chocolate in the flavor with coffee, cherries, ash and oak. Has a slick mouth feel, full-bodied and balanced bitterness. Nice stout with lots of chocolate.

Shared bottle at Yule beer tasting on board Fridtjofen 09.12.16 and 10.12.16. Ebony. Beige head. Aroma and taste of dark chocolate, coconut, molasses and Bounty chocolate bar.

Nærmest svart i fargen med beige skum. Lukter av kaffe, sjokolade og lakris. Fyldig og med smak av sjokolade og kaffe.
