Fra kran på Haand Ølfestival 30 Mai 15. Delt med Rune. Dyp amber. Uklar. Høyt tett hvitt skum. Mye lacing. Svakt syrlig fruktaroma. Smaken tørket frukt & krydder. Litt underlig & monoton.

Golden with a white head - Malt and hops in the aroma - malt body with some hops and small hints of bitterness - The malt goes into the finish with some hops - The beer itself was ok, but it is not a DIPA, lacks in hops and bitterness

On tap at Haand Festival. An unclear, amber colored beer topped by a dense, creamy, beige head. There’s a touch of dms in the aroma, with caramel and citrusy hops. Malts in the back. There’s a decent bitterness in the flavor, with pine cones, citrus zest and caramel. Full body and a nice carbonation level. Lasting finish. A decent DIPA, but it needs more of most things, except perhaps maltyness. 150529

Served chilled down too far, from tap at Haandbryggeriet Beer Festival. Shared with Finn. A solid pearl white head blanketing the glass. Next to clear amber body. Restrained aroma of grassy hops and pale malts. Taste of mild caramel and grassy hops leading to a moderate fruit bitter finish. Medium bodied. Fair enough (Drammen 30.05.2015).

Hazy dark golden color with a fine off white head. Looks quite inviting. Quite fruity aroma. Medium (+) body. Not that sweet but hardly any bitterness. That made this beer a bit weird. Soft carbonation. Fruity and toffee flavor. Hmmm if they called this a English ale or something. It could be defended. What is the point of making a double IPA whitout hops? My goodness. Nothing bad or wrong with it. Just utterly boring and nothing to do with an DIPA. That is the reason behind the low score.

Draught @ Haand Ølfestival 2015, Drammen
Pours clear deep golden with a off-white head. Aroma has notes of malt, caramel, floral and hint of alcohol. Taste is medium sweet and light bitter with a long malty and caramel finish. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. I think they forgot to add the hops in this batch... It have nothing to do with a Double IPA.
