Farlig åpent la de byen... Enten Vestfjorden står krumbøyd over båtene i havna eller Bodøs åsyn speiler seg i sommersol og flatt hav, er Moloen stripa vi trør på når vi vil kjenne oss i live. Myntet på øyeblikk hvor livet skal feires har vi brygget en belgisk gårdsøl lastet med oseansk fruktighet. Vår Moloen er gyllen og lun som midtsommernatta og yppig og fresk som stormkastene vi beskyttes mot.
Ingredienser: Bodøvann, maltet bygg og hvete, Galaxy Pacific Gem og gjær. Ufiltrert og upasteurisert fordi levende øl smaker best. Serveres på samme temperatur som vannet på yttersida (4-8 grader).

Fra fat på Malt & Humle (Gladmatfestivalen i Stavanger): uklar gylden med flott skum som varer. Fruktig aroma og enda bedre smak - appelsin, citrus, løvetann, urter. Fin bitterhet i avslutningen. Tørrhumlet med Galaxy iflg den hyggelige bryggeren, maltkomboen er 70/30 pils/hvete, og jgæren de brukte var Wyeast French Saison 3711.

Huge offwhite head. Hazy pale yellow body with very strong carbonation. Vague fruity funky peas aroma. Dry-sweet spicy peachy mealy taste with funky notes. Mid-bodied. Mild, mealy mouthfeel. Dryish mealy bready wooden aftertaste with spicy funky notes. It’s interesting, but not great. Tantalizingly close to a really good beer. (0.33l bottle, from wine monopoly Aker Brygge, Oslo. Batch #41.)

Bottle split at CBC N1 during my 40th birthday shitshoot, big thanks to Rune for leaving some beers behind for us RB’ians to share, 11/10/14. Hazed pale golden with a decent off white covering. Nose is citric sherbets, peach linger, lemon rind, juicy hop tunes. Taste comprises juicy citrics, spice, straw, tangerine, lemon wash. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a sincere hoppy rinse. Decent hoppy saison.

Bottle share for Colin’s 40th. Murky yellow with a firm white heat . aroma is chive hop veg matter with a lasting white head. Flavour is chive lemon. And grassy, wheaty berry, palate I’d semi sweet highish carbonation. Light bit if funk. Tasty beer.
