Bottle from Real Ale Store, Newark. Golden colour with a tiny white head. Light citrus fruit aroma. Taste well light.

Cask at the Bootlegger, High Wycombe, 05/11/15. Very lightly hazed golden blonde with a moderate off White swirl. Nose is straw, traces of orchard fruit, grain, bready pangs. Taste comprises mandarin, orange, straw, faint apricot. Medium bodied, moderate carbonation, drying close. Pretty average golde.

Cask, gravity dispensed, at the Spring Festival at the Rose & Crown, Sandhurst. A hazy amber pour with a ring of white head; grainy aroma; sweet citrus taste; and a biscuity finish. Not very exciting.

Fra cask på Hand and Heart, Nottingham 26 Jan 14. Gylden. Litt uklar. Lavt filmskum. Ikke mye aroma. Hint av stikkelsbær. Smaken er bær & tørket frukt. Avslutter tørt. Litt anonym. Puben var veldig bra med mye lokalt og hadde en populær restaurant. God local feeling.

Bottle from Co-Op in Oakham, Rutland. Poured a hazy golden colour with a thick off white head. Light grassy aroma and slight plastic notes. Flavours of lemon zest and grain. Finished with an unbalanced resiny bitterness.

Ein hopfiges Bier mit deutlich fruchtigen Noten. Es ist angenehm zu trinken, wird aber bald fad. Ein gutes Bier, aber es gibt bessere und man könnte es ein bisschen harmonischer hinkriegen.

Cask-conditioned at the Nottinghamshire beer festival, Seven Stars, Bristol March 2012. Deep gold with a slight white head. Citrus hops, orange fruit, cereal malts and a dry finish. Fine.

Cask gravity @ Battersea BF 2012. Pours a golden color with a small white head. Has a fruity malty weak hoppy aroma. Fruity malty peaty caramel flavor. Has a fruity malty peaty finish with hoppy hints in the aftertaste.
