Our thirst quenching Grapefruit IPA has become Michigan's warm weather requisite for a balanced and refreshing craft beer. With aromas of citrus & tropical fruits, a delicate grapefruit tartness and a sweet malty backbone ending in a clean finish; this IPA is the first of its kind. Cheers to short sleeves and long days.

Can: Cloudy, yellow-orange with a white head. Sweet grapefruit, grain aroma. Taste is sweet-tart pink breakfast grapefruit. Very juicy....... Really more of a fruit beer than an IPA......still, it’s pretty tasty, nicely fruity.... Enjoyable.

Can. Pour is a clean gold with a thin head and aromas of biscuit and an almost sweaty funk. It’s a very yeasty smell, but not very IPA-ish. Flavor is more like a grapefruit session IPA in that it has a bit of grapefruit (but not too punchy, kind of sweetened) and then pointlessness.

can - Hazy gold pour, very citrusy aroma. The flavor is moderately bitter and heavy on the grapefruit. Not being much of a grapefruit fan though I enjoy some notes of it in beer, this was heavy on the fruit for me. It’s still a fairly good medium bodied brew.

Tap at Seva Detroit. Murky orange golden with white head. Orange juice, grapefruit juice, apricot, light sweet malts and a bit of grass but mostly just a lot of juice, and not even in a very hoppy way. Under medium sweet, lighter bitter and light sour. Medium bodied. I wouldn’t even call this an IPA but it’s great.

12 ounce can into pint glass, canned on 2/24/2016. Pours hazy golden orange color with a 1-2 finger fairly dense and fluffy white head with good retention, that reduces to a small cap that lingers. Light spotty soapy lacing clings on the glass. Aromas of grapefruit, tangerine, pineapple, peach, lemon zest, orange peel, pine, cracker, bread, light honey, herbal, and floral/grassy earthiness. Nice and and pleasant aromas with good balance and complexity of citrus/tropical/pine hops, grapefruit juice, and moderate pale malt notes; with solid strength. Taste of big grapefruit, tangerine, pineapple, peach, lemon zest, orange peel, citrus rind, pine, cracker, bread, light honey, herbal, and floral/grassy earthiness. Good amount of pine/citrus rind/grassy bitterness and light fruit tartness on the finish; with lingering notes of grapefruit, tangerine, peach, pineapple, lemon/orange rind, pine, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness on the finish for a while. Very nice complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/tropical/pine hops, grapefruit juice, and moderate pale malt flavors; with a good malt/bitterness balance; with light hop/grapefruit astringency lingering after the finish. Good amount of dryness from hop/grapefruit bitterness as well. Medium carbonation and light-medium body; with a very smooth, crisp, and sticky/resinous mouthfeel that is nice. Alcohol is very well hidden with zero warming present after the finish as expected of 5%. Overall this is a very good fruited IPA style. All around good complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/tropical/pine hops, grapefruit juice, and moderate pale malt flavors; and very smooth, crisp, and refreshing to drink; despite having some lingering flavor astringency. A very enjoyable offering.
