This unfiltered amber ale is packed full of hop bitterness, flavor and aroma. IPA is the most bitter beer style and it is enjoyed by people we refer to as “hopheads.” We dry hop this beer with a combination of English and American hop varieties for a wonderfully aromatic finish.

Tap at UFO Factory. Hazy dark golden with small off white head. Lime, caramel, some resinous hops, dark bread, lemon, grassy. Under medium sweet and bitter. Medium bodied. Not bad actually.

can - Golden-orange pour, one finger white head, citrus hop aroma... it has a medium body and is pretty bitter but at an average level at most for the style. Overall it’s balanced and fairly good.

From a big warm can this stuff looks like viscous bitter ipa with a big rocky head, and it is. Terribly on style, what else can be said? Wew, volatile mild hop perfume aroma. No way is this just 7%.

16 ounce can into pint glass, best before 12/6/2014. Pours slightly hazy golden orange color with a 2 finger dense off white head with great retention, that reduces to a nice cap that lingers. Spotty soapy lacing clings down the glass, with a moderate amount of streaming carbonation. Aromas of grapefruit, tangerine, pineapple, lemon zest, orange peel, citrus rind, floral, grass, light pine, light caramel, bread, and floral/grassy earthiness. Very nice aromas with good complexity and balance of citrus/tropical hops and moderate pale malt sweetness; with good strength. Taste of grapefruit, tangerine, pineapple, lemon zest, orange peel, citrus rind, floral, grass, pine, light caramel, bread, and floral/grassy earthiness. Good amount of pine/citrus rind bitterness on the finish; with lingering notes of grapefruit, pineapple, tangerine, lemon/orange zest, citrus rind, pine, light caramel, and floral/grassy earthiness on the finish for a while. Very nice complexity and balance of citrus/tropical hops and moderate pale malt sweetness; with a nice malt/bitterness balance and zero cloying flavors after the finish. Medium carbonation and body; with a smooth, moderately crisp/sticky, and lightly creamy mouthfeel that is nice. Alcohol is well hidden with only a slight warming present after the finish. Overall this is a very nice IPA. All around god complexity and balance of citrus/tropical hops and moderate pale malt sweetness; and very smooth and crisp to drink. A very enjoyable offering.

Reviewed from notes.
I poured this into a pint glass.
The appearance is a nice light golden yellow to orange color with a decent one to two fingers worth of foamy white head that ended up dieing at a decent pace. Carbonation is seen rising in the body.
The smell had bitter piney yet also some citrus hops enabling a decent malt bill to eventually come out to combine pretty nicely.
The taste was bitter and sweet that tried to be at the same time but ended up missing each other here and there.
On the palate, it sat fairly light and had a decent sessionable quality to it. The carbonation is there for an AIPA as there’s enough pummeling harshness running about it.
Overall, I say this was a good AIPA that I could have again.

Can. Pour is a cloudy light amber with a thin head and aromas of resin and caramel. Flavor is good IPA with nothing too special in terms of hops. It is nicely bitter with a very good resiny quality to the hops presence, but it won’t blow your hair back with the newest and greatest hop that is in short supply and people are freaking out to try. What it will do is deliver a nice punchy hops bitterness that is decently supported by a nice malty balance.

On tap at Rochester Mills, Rochester. Hazy medium orange body, thin off-white head. Bright nose of citrus rind, especially tangerine with some grapefruit. Catty, bitter body, herbal, leafy, and soapy, with fresh, resiny tangerine rind. Oily palate; not too bitter. Good.
