Bottle 500ml. clear glass (bottle conditioned version) @ ChrisO.

[ As Shepherd Neame 1698 ].
Clear medium yellow orange colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate to heavy horse blanket, leather, wood, citric - citrus - sour, very geuze like. Flavor is moderate sweet and acidic with a long duration, dry, horse blanket, brett, has gone quit geuze like. Body is medium, texture is watery, carbonation is flat to soft. [20110617]

Cask Conditioned
Light amber color; poor head. Light aroma (malt and some esters). Quite warming, malty, cheesy (this reminds me goat cheese, such as Roquefort! Don't worry: it's just an impression, the beer is good). Caramel as well. A good Bitter, lacking a better hoppy character and/or fruitness.
