From tap to 50 cl plastic bottle from Mack, thanks Mack! Dark brown, clear with a small head. Aroma; Sweet Malty, caramel, dark fruits and some choccolate. Flavor; Roasted malt with a caramel sence. Nice taste but a bit flat, mabye too long in the plastic bottle before i tested it? Like to try it again right from tap..

Fra fat på Ølhallen i Tromsø ved flere anledninger. Dyp brun på farge. Kremaktig, litt farget skum som varer lenge. "Ale"-aroma med hint av kaffe. Veldig lite kullsyre. Dempet&avrundet smak med brown-ale preg, men med en underliggende kaffesmak. Dette burde være et utmerket matøl. Enda et eksperimentøl fra Macks mikrobryggeri. Spennende. Har prøvd ølet flere ganger og kaffepreget kommer tydeligere fram etter hvert.

500ml draught, served at just the right drinking temperature. Took about 15 minutes to fill the glass. Small off-white head atop of clear rosewood body. Good amount of spotty lacing on the glass. Pleasantly blended aroma of dark chocolate and slightly roasted coffee malts. Flavoured with chocolate malts and semi-bitter coffee, added by a touch of liquorice. Smooth bittersweet ending. Rather easy to drink. Likable (Tromsø on a Friday afternoon at Ølhallen, 09.07.2010).
