Can 50 cl. Courtesy of yngwie. Clear golden with a white head. Some flowery hoppiness in the nose. Light body, extremely dry - hardly any sweetness - with a fairly distinct hopping. 090609

50 cL bottle, courtesy Papsoe. Pours clear and golden yellow to orange with a small white head. Dry, light fruity and vague cornish flavoured. Mild bitter finish. Thin bodied, yet with a decent level of flavour for what it is.

500 ml can. Golden body with a fine white head. Weak aroma with just a hint of grain and hay. Flavor is light grainy with a relatively descent bitterness that end up a bit like harsh metallic in the finish. Thin and watery body. A boring pilsner, but actually not the worst of the LITE pilsner I have sampled. Still not exactly the cream of the crap.

Can. A decent looking beer, with a clear golden body and a coarse, medium sized white head. There’s aroma, but it’s quite faint, with hay, pale malt and a little fruity note. Apple it seems. A weak rubbery touch as well, but in the far back. Rather funny actually, because the beer gets more and more unattractive, chemical and sickly, the more I put my nose into the glass. I’m letting the first impression count though. Feels quite sweet on the palate, with a decent bitterness coming towards the end. It actually feels sticky without being it, and has a slightly artificial touch and flavors of pale malt, hay and a little faint rubber note. Quite watery. Probably not the worst lite beer, but hopefully the Norwegian breweries are finished releasing lite beers now. (080815)

500 ml can, from REMA 1000. ABV is 4.5%. Another light / lite / low carb pale lager - oh God, what have we Norwegians done wrong to deserve being punished with this low carb wave? Pale golden colour, moderate head. Sweetish and rather sickly (yes Lars: rubbery) aroma. The flavour is not too bad for a lite beer, though - there is actually some hoppy bitterness. Could have been worse.

Medium offwhite coarseish head. Yellow body with carbonation. Dense malty buttery aroma with rubbery straw notes. Dry grainy rubbery taste with notes of ash and cardboard. Harsh mouthfeel, slightly hollow body. Some sweetness. Taste ends abruptly, but a harsh papery taste lingers. Did not enjoy this at all. (0.5l can, Rema 1000, Galgeberg, Oslo.)
