Bottle sampled in 2008, thanx Rune. Hazy orange body with a nice tan head. Nice and fresh aroma with citric fruit like peaches and pale malt. No strong aroma, but delicate. Flavor is pleasant light malty, refreshing fruit, slightly fruity acidic. Medium body with a light, but nice aftertaste. This is a damn nice and balanced beer within its own style.

Bottle, big thx to Rune. It looks quite nice in the glass, but I would like a slightly bigger head. It’s off-white to beige, and just a thin layer of foam. The body is hazy, and orange-golden in color. The aroma is quite subtle, with a nice blend of malt and fruityness. The flavor is much the same, but lower on the malt, and with a tiny sour note. The finish has medium duration, with a little fruity sourness. Medium body. Quite nice and easy to drink. (080411)

On tap at Ølhallen, Tromsø. Rating based on sampling four times during Jan 08. Golden brown colored with a small white creamy head. Inviting aroma of fruit and butterscotch. Flavor in the same direction, but the butter domination has gradually disappeared giving room for a pleasant fruity taste that follows you into the aftertaste.

Two 500ml on tap at Ølhallen, Tromsø. A Steam Beer served at a decent, not too cold, drinking temperature. Dense, one-finger off-white head with good retention and nice laceworks. The head rests on an unclear, dark orange body. Dry woody aroma including spicies and acidulous fruits. Flavour of fruity acidity is dominating but light sweetness from toasty malts can be detected. Dry hopped with lingering bitterness. Surprisingly well bodied for its low alcohol strength. The next brew from Mack’s Microbrewey will be an Imperial Stout supposed to be out before Easter (05.01.2008).
