Bottle, gift. Aroma is sweet brown malt with yeast, sugar, caramel, dried fruits, raisins. Sweet and sugary flavour with low bitterness. Medium body. A sweet basic Quad that lacks finesse.

Pours dark brown. Fairly stable, someewhat creamy off-white colored head. Scent is mild. Distant chocolate, toffee, figs. Taste is fairly sharp. Simple sugary seeetness. Caramelly, aged chocolate, tad bitter, chestnut. Leaves in the fall. It misses that intensity i expect from a quad, also isnt the silky and smooth character it describes itself to be. Still, very decent.

Dark brown colour with thin head. Aroma and flavour have lots of raisins, dark malt and candy.

Bottle 33cl. bought on the island @home poured into a teku glass. Deep amberbrown colour, small frothy off-white head, mostly diminishing, ever so light lacing. Aroma sweet and roasted malts, liquorice, raisins, figs, caramel, candy sugar. Taste light light heavy sweet and slightly bitter, malty, liquorice, dried dark fruits, caramel, burnt caramel, alcohol. Full-bodied, oily texture, average carbonation, roasty sweet aftertaste, light malty bitter notes, candy sugar, alcohol notes, well-balanced, nice brew.

33cl bottle. A clear reddish brown beer with a beige head. Aroma of strong reddish and caramelized malt, lot of raisins, dried fruit, figs. Taste of sweet and strong dark caramelized malt, red malt, figs, plums, raisins.

Wat een paal! THT. Dark amber with white head. Sweet malts, caramel, earthy bitters. Over medium body and soft carb. Boozy.

Massive stone bottle at THT June. Bit hazy deep amber with light beige head. Apple, caramel, alcohol, chestnuts, raisins. Over medium sweet and quite bitter. Sol8d medium bodied.
