500ml bottle from Beers of Europe. Pours a cloudy gold, moderate sized white head, leaves anice top and lacing. Aroma of sweet malts and a big gooseberry fruity aroma, some minerals. Taste starts well with the biscuit, gooseberry and sweetness coming through and then the bitterness rises 10 fold with a mineral drying close to the point of astringency. Light to medium bodied, dry. Its ok but could have been better.

500ml bottle [courtesy of Grumbo - cheers!]. Slightly cloudy, golden colour with average to huge, frothy, moderately lasting, minimally lacing, white head. Fruity hoppy and sweet-ish, minimally biscuity (Butterkeks), pale malty aroma, notes of gooseberry, minimally dusty, yeasty overtones. Taste is dry, slightly fruity hoppy, pale malty basis with subtle sweetness and a biscuity touch (Butterkeks again), hints of gooseberry. Quite simple and monotonous.

Bottle from Beers of Europe. Appearance - golden amber with a big head. A bit gushy in fact. Nose - biscuit and very light orange. A bit grainy though. Taste - grainy with vague orange note and a bit astringent. Palate - light to medium bodied with a creamy yet crunchy texture and a finish that could be fresher. Astringent in fact. Overall - not worth revisiting.

Bottle conditioned 500ml into a UK pint sleeve at home on 3rd Feb 2016. No sediment left the bottle so I got an almost clear beer, light amber in colour, the head a full and deep foaming bubble bath like covering. Yeasty and fruity nose, the taste a blend of malts and hops that produce a decent flavour, some light citrus notes within the bitterness and fruitiness. A little too much like ’Home Brew’ for me though.
