500ml bottle: BB June 16. Poured into a UK pint sleeve at home on 18th Jan 16. Initial aroma was of dirty farmyards, that cleared away to leave malty molasses as the main smell. Ruby/dark brown body with a wisp for a head. Malts rule the taste with caramel and toffee flavours pushing through a robust hop bitterness that balanced the beer fairly well. Body depth seems lacking, flavoursome enough but no real mouthfeel or character from the brew.
