Cask @ Mason’s Arms, Todmorden. Clear gold with a thin head. Has a light earthy-floral aroma as well as an easy drinking texture. Medium bodied with a small sweetness.

Served at perfect drinking temperature at The White Star in Liverpool. Low, white head. Slightly foggy, copper-brown body. Fruit-floral aroma. Hop resin and lemon in the flavour added by notes of sweet roastiness. Brief moments of bitterness in the aftertaste. Light in the mouth. (cask, half pint 04.05.2009).
