Tap at the brewpub, served rather chilled in a nice, tall glass. Near-clear, amber body with just a fragile layer at the surface. Malt blended with hop resin to the nose. Quite sharp flavour of resinous hops with a touch of caramel malts beneath. Slightly oily palate. Medium bodied. Gets a bit unvaried, but otherwise quite alright (Copenhagen, 06.05.2010).

Draft. An unclear dark golden beer with a huge orangey head. The aroma is sweet with notes of yeast, brew mash, and malt. The flavor flavor is sweet with strong notes of yeast as well as notes of wheat, brewmash, sulphur, and fruit, leading to a dry yasty and sulphury finish.

From tap at the brewpub, another century (86th) celebrated with an Apollo brew.... Pours hazy to murky orange with a small white head. Yeasty, slight breadish and mild bitterhops aroma. A touch of butter. Mild bitter and vague citrus hoppy note to a medium dry ad vague caramelish yet slight biscuit malty base flavour. Bitter and fruity finish, nice and refreshing. Lasting grapefruity hops oily accents into the far finish.
