This incredibly easy drinking, creamy straw coloured ale has a light and fruity hop character and a fairly dry finish. The pale colour and creamy texture can be attributed to a grain bill comprising of only Pale Malt. The perfect partnership of US grown Amarillo and Willamette hops leads to a slightly spicy, almost floral aroma with a distinct tinge of orange, alongside an earthy fruitiness.

Cask @ White Hart, Todmorden. Yellow-blonde with a creamy head. Hopped with a weak tasting texture and taste, but still very fruity in both aroma and taste.

Cask at The Last Drop Inn. Pours brassy gold with a creamy white head. Light floral aroma. Med minus body. Flavor is floral, followed by lightly bready, and then it gets rather bitter. Floral in the finish.

Half pint, cask in excellent condition at Mr Foley’s in Leeds. Golden body with a very slight haze. Almost naked surface. Spotty lacing. Sweaty hops and dry lemon to the nose. Semi-dry hops in flavour with notes of sweat, leaf and grapefruits. Gentle dry bitter finish. Standard for the style, more or less (11.07.2012).

Lemon on the nose and first sip, straw coloured beer with white lacing head. Not a bad one, especially good in a beer garden!
