Half, cask, handpump at New Oxford in Salford. Ruby dark body. Bubbly ring to the rim of the glass. Aroma is dark malty with a little roastiness. Dark malts mixed with resin and dark fruits to the taste character. Mild bittersweet ending. Nice enough for a mild (Greater Manchester, 05.07.2012).
