bottle. cloudy brown, smooth light brown head. aroma is nutty and herbal, slightly malty. flavor is nutty, bitter nutty, herbal, slightly malty, slightly caramelly. has this homebrew’ish feel to it that i don’t really like.

Bottle.Almost black colour with medium head.Aroma is roosted and malty,nice well balanced with good taste of caramel and chocolate,well balanced with nice hint of cocoa and hops.

Draught at KØ14. Cloudy dark brown colour. Small off-white head. The flavour is mildly roasted, not so bitter. Watery finish.

From tap. Pours hazy brown with a small tan head. Aroma is roasted malty and caramelish. Bitter and toasted. Roasted and breadish. Light fruity and toasted finish.

500ml bottle by the courtesy of Skinnyviking. Fair, bubbly, beige head. Spotty lacing down the glass. Clear dark brown coloured body. Aroma of brown malts, a touch of burnt coffee. Roasted brown malty flavours, hints of coffee and chocolate. Closure of malty bitterness. Medium bodied. Likable version of the style (Absalon tasting, Copenhagen 04.05.2014).

Smak och doft av humle, malt, choklad, karamell, mörkt bröd med rostade toner och aromer av kaffe. Fruktig, jämn och fin med lagom sötma och beska. En bra brown ale helt enkelt.
