Cask at Lichfield Winter Beer Festival; clear burnished amber pour with a thin white head, aroma has light malts, taste has sweet malts, red fruits, a hint of scotch.

Cask-conditioned at the Three Tuns, Bristol February 2015. Dee brown in colour, with a decent, off-white, head. Aroma of berry fruits, caramel and whisky. Flavour had more sweetness, peat, some bready malts and a decent, boozy, finish. Good.

Half pint, cask at Roscoe Head in Liverpool. Clear mahogany coloured body. Stable off-white head, spotty lacing. Smell of mid-sweet caramel, note of peat. Malt accented flavors of nuts, smoke and caramel. Mid-sweet ending. Likable (02.02.2015).
